Global Resource Corp. reported earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2008. For the quarter, the company reported a net loss of $3.6 million, or $0.12 per share. Operating expenses increased as Global Resource hired several keys engineers and executives to support the commercialization of its technology. The Company currently has the infrastructure in place to commercialize up to 25 orders per quarter, allowing for rapid expansion as the company receives orders. During the quarter a significant amount of resources were utilized in the research and development of the microwave technology. Global Resource continued the development and testing of the 1 ton prototype machine.

Global Resource Corp. announced it has opened a new GRC Engineering office in Rockford, Ill., designed to house the company´s engineering design work and sales engineering, with the exception of the microwave tubes, as well as provide operational support for all manufacturing projects. The company also announced the appointment of two senior executives to its management team: Lennart Hedman has been appointed to the position of Vice President of Engineering, and Scott Dunbar, who assumes the position of Vice President of Operations. Both previously served in executive positions at Ingersoll Production Systems, a strategic Global Resource manufacturing partner.

Global Resource Corp. announced further expansion into the global market by entering the Middle East, India and China for recycling and energy recovery. The Company has entered into a further marketing agreement with C6 Energy Pty. Ltd. This new agreement appoints C6 Energy as the exclusive distributor of the GRC Microwave Energy Recovery technology for all current and future applications, for the Peoples Republic of China, India, Russia (and the former states of the USSR), various Asian countries, and the Middle East.
